Sam Dylan Finch. I’m a writer and positive psychology practitioner that’s passionate about queer joy — with none of the self-helpy bullsh*t. I wrote that thing about people-pleasing that you showed your therapist. I’m much weirder in real life.  ✨ He/they. More?

This is a community mental health resource, powered by your donations. Want to chip in?

I am on five different medications. It used to be hard to share that with anyone, because I thought that something must be wrong with me to need so many. I worried that my needs confirmed how broken I felt for such a long time.
Does this cycle look familiar to you? You’re anxious about a task, so you avoid it or procrastinate... but that just makes it more overwhelming with time. And just when you need to summon the motivation and get it done? You freeze — the overwhelm becomes so big, you can’t seem to move.
