Confession: I’ve been depressed, anxious, and unable to get up in the morning for months upon months. My prescriber tried everything that’s traditionally recommended in this situation, from antidepressants to anti-anxiety meds. Nothing was helping.
I am asking with my whole heart for help.
There is a difference between reluctant permission to be ourselves and loving permission.
Every so often, I’ll stumble upon a pro-ana account engaging with my content — I imagine because they’re conflicted, pulled back and forth between the part of them that wants to recover, and the part of them that is engulfed by their eating disorder.
